Alex Morgan: Two-time World Cup-winning USA international announces retirement

Alex Morgan, the two-time Women’s World Cup winner and Olympic gold medalist with the United States, has announced her retirement from professional football at the age of 35. In a video posted on social media, Morgan also revealed that she is expecting her second child. The striker, known for her iconic status in women’s soccer, will play her final professional game with San Diego Wave on Sunday against North Carolina.
