Visa is launching Visa A2A (account-to-account) in the UK in early 2025, aiming to boost consumer protection for bank transfers for bill payments. This initiative will offer an easy-to-use dispute resolution service, along with security measures like biometrics, to prevent unauthorized transactions. Banks and businesses can join Visa A2A to provide similar levels of protection as card payments, with plans to expand to managing subscriptions in the future.
