SRM chancellor Pachamuthu cannot seek to restrain ED from summoning him or his family, rules Madras HC

The Madras High Court dismissed a writ petition by SRM University chancellor T.R. Pachamuthu to stop the Enforcement Directorate from investigating him in a 2016 medical admissions donation case. The court ruled that the agency could not be restrained from summoning or probing him or his family members in connection with the case.
