LIC gets GST demand and penalty notice worth Rs 606 crore  

LIC, India’s largest insurer, has received a GST demand and penalty notice amounting to Rs 606 crore. The notice pertains to certain policies where GST was not paid on the entire premium collected. LIC has been asked to pay the amount within a stipulated time frame to avoid further action.
