F1 season may conclude in Europe if Qatar and Abu Dhabi cannot host

Formula One has set a mid-September deadline to decide the fate of its final races in Qatar and Abu Dhabi amid ongoing regional tensions due to the US-Israel war on Iran. If these races cannot proceed, the season will conclude in Europe. Chief Executive Stefano Domenicali confirmed that while the races are currently scheduled, alternative plans, including potential venues like Italy’s Imola circuit, are being considered. The 2027 calendar is also in planning, with a focus on maintaining 24 races.
