Uganda food crisis explained

A severe hunger crisis is unfolding in Uganda, particularly in the Karamoja region, which has experienced its worst drought in decades. With at least 19 reported deaths due to starvation and 1.5 million people at risk of malnutrition, the government has initiated emergency food distribution and allocated $18 million in aid.
