A former New Jersey middle school teacher, Ashley Fisler, 36, has been indicted on multiple new charges, including manufacturing child sexual abuse material, following allegations of a sexual relationship with a student. The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office announced that Fisler now faces a 12-count indictment, which includes charges of sexual assault of a minor and a pattern of official misconduct. The alleged victim, now an adult, reported the unlawful relationship occurred in 2021 while he was a minor at Orchard Valley Middle School. Investigators discovered thousands of sexually explicit text messages exchanged between Fisler and the victim after he entered high school. Fisler was previously arrested in March on multiple charges, including first-degree sexual assault, and is currently no longer employed by any school district.
