Several Iranian tankers have crossed the U.S. blockade in the Strait of Hormuz, marking Iran’s first oil exports in two months, as the U.S. and Iran prepare to sign a memorandum of understanding and commence negotiations aimed at concluding their ongoing conflict. The talks, starting in Switzerland, will focus on Iran’s nuclear program and lifting international sanctions. A waiver for Iran to sell oil and fuel will take effect immediately upon signing the MoU.
