At least 11 dead in clashes in Pakistan-administered Kashmir

At least 11 people were killed in clashes between police and supporters of the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) in Pakistan-administered Kashmir, following a Supreme Court ruling affirming the constitutional protection of legislative seats for refugees. The violence erupted ahead of a planned protest for political rights and representation. Authorities have since designated the JAAC as a banned group under anti-terror laws, urging tourists to leave the region.
