Police await surrender of alleged accomplice of taxi boss Sibanyoni

Mpumalanga police have identified a fourth suspect linked to taxi boss Joe “Ferrari” Sibanyoni in an extortion case involving over R2 million. Sibanyoni and two co-accused are set to appear in the Kwaggafontein Magistrate’s Court, facing charges stemming from a complaint by a businessman who reported ongoing extortion demands. Authorities have deployed a significant police presence at the court, including vehicles and personnel, as they anticipate further developments in the case. Police spokesperson Colonel Mavela Masondo indicated that they have contacted the fourth suspect, who is expected to surrender voluntarily.
