Hong Kong to escape typhoon at start of week as tropical cyclone moves away from city

Residents in Hong Kong breathed a sigh of relief as a powerful typhoon moved away from the city at the start of the week. Many residents took shelter and prepared for the worst, but luckily the storm veered away, sparing the city from major damage.
