Unlike the original, which can cost over $2,000 and lacks modern features, the BB-777 incorporates Bluetooth connectivity, a rechargeable battery, and a slot-loading CD player. It retains key design elements from the GF-777, including dual cassette decks and similar speaker specifications, but replaces the analog VU meters found in other boombox models. The BB-777 features six speakers with a total output of 270W and supports various audio formats, with the ability to record audio directly to a USB drive. Weighing 28 pounds, it will be available for pre-order on Kickstarter for $649, with a retail price of $1,049 beginning in June.
