Former reality TV star Jessie Holmes secured his second consecutive victory in the Iditarod, the iconic 1,000-mile sled dog race in Alaska, finishing in Nome. Holmes, who previously appeared on “Life Below Zero,” is now among only three competitors in the race’s history to win back-to-back titles. He received approximately $80,000 for this year’s win, which was bolstered by additional prize money from Norwegian billionaire Kjell Rokke. Despite a strong showing, one dog tragically died during the race, marking a somber note in the event.
