Doug Armstrong will not return as general manager of Canada’s Olympic men’s hockey team after leading the management group for two years. Under his guidance, Canada reached the Olympic final last month but lost to the United States. Hockey Canada confirmed his departure, citing Armstrong’s focus on his GM role with the St. Louis Blues, where he has served for 16 seasons. The next Winter Olympics are set for February 2030 in the French Alps.
