Liam Lawson completed a productive practice session for the Formula One Chinese Grand Prix, recording the 11th fastest time at 1m 34.773s. With a single practice session available due to the sprint weekend format, Lawson drove 29 laps, finishing just 0.097 seconds shy of the top 10. He also encountered a recurring battery issue during a practice start, similar to what he experienced at the previous Australian Grand Prix.
