A former University of Kentucky student-athlete, 22-year-old Snelling, has been indicted on first-degree manslaughter and several other charges following the death of her newborn, whose body was discovered in a trash bag. The grand jury’s indictment includes charges of abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, and concealing the birth of an infant. Snelling previously pleaded not guilty to earlier charges and is currently on house arrest. Her arraignment is scheduled for April 10.
