Accused ISIS plotter purchased fireworks fuse before NYC attack

Emir Balat, 18, purchased a 20-foot fireworks fuse for $6.89 at Phantom Fireworks in Pennsylvania just days before allegedly throwing explosive devices at a protest outside New York City’s Gracie Mansion. Along with 19-year-old Ibrahim Kayumi, Balat is accused of launching live explosives during a protest against a public Muslim prayer event. Both face five federal charges, including attempted provision of material support to a terrorist organization and use of a weapon of mass destruction.
