New York Police investigate homemade bombs at protest outside mayor’s house

New York police are investigating homemade explosive devices thrown during protests outside Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s home as an act of “ISIS-inspired terrorism”. Two men were arrested in connection to the incident, which occurred during clashes between rival groups near Gracie Mansion. The explosives, which did not detonate, were hurled during an anti-Muslim demonstration led by far-right activist Jake Lang. Police are working with federal prosecutors and the FBI on the investigation.
