41 Dead in Clashes Following Israeli Commandos’ Grave Dig for Missing Navigator

An Israeli operation in Lebanon to search for a missing navigator has resulted in dozens of deaths, with at least 41 people killed and 40 wounded. The Israeli commando force clashed with Hezbollah and local fighters, but did not find the navigator’s remains. The missing navigator, Ron Arad, disappeared in 1986 after parachuting out of a fighter jet that crashed in Lebanon.
