Morocco’s coach Walid Regragui has stepped down following the team’s recent loss to Senegal in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final. He emphasized the need for a fresh approach and new energy ahead of the World Cup, where Morocco will face Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti in Group C. Captain Achraf Hakimi praised Regragui for his significant contributions to Moroccan football. The team will also play friendly matches against Ecuador and Paraguay next month.
