Tom McCarthy, the Academy Award-winning director of Spotlight, has assembled a star-studded cast for his upcoming untitled film, co-financed by Sony Classics. The cast includes Paul Rudd, Evan Peters, Amy Ryan, Paul Giamatti, John Turturro, Tatiana Maslany, and Jason Clarke. The darkly comic drama, based on Nathaniel Rich’s book Losing Earth, follows a group of experts at a 1980 Florida resort tasked with addressing the climate crisis. Filming is set to begin next month.
