Judge warns of ongoing cycle of crime after New Plymouth stabbing

A homeless man, Anaru Yardley, living in his car, stabbed a man twice after being asked to leave a front lawn in New Plymouth. The incident occurred around 9 am on October 7, when the victim, alerted by noises outside his flat, discovered Yardley parked partially on his lawn. Following a confrontation, Yardley claimed he could “do whatever he wanted” before the attack.
