Uber plans to launch flying taxis in London by 2030

Vertical Aerospace is set to launch electric flying taxis in London by 2030, following successful tests in the Cotswolds. Uber has partnered with Joby Aviation to introduce flying taxis in Dubai later this year. The flying taxis can travel at speeds of up to 200mph, significantly reducing travel time; a 10-mile journey in London could take just 10 minutes. Fares will be similar to Uber’s premium service, and the aircraft are designed to be quieter than traditional planes.
