Voice of America’s Persian-language service continues to broadcast within Iran despite strict communication restrictions imposed by the government. The service reported on significant events, including the U.S.-Israeli military operation “Operation Epic Fury” and the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Amid intensified crackdowns on journalism and a severe internet blackout in Iran, the U.S. Agency for Global Media stated that VOA is amplifying President Trump’s messages, reaching Iranians and others living under oppressive regimes.
