More than half of humanitarian aid movements to the Gaza Strip were blocked or denied by Israeli authorities in February, exacerbating food shortages for civilians, according to the UN. Food rations were cut by 50%, with around two-thirds of aid trucks from Egypt turned back. While some humanitarian missions were facilitated, several others faced obstacles, limiting the delivery of essential supplies like fuel and sanitation kits.
