Frozen blueberries recalled due to potential listeria contamination

Oregon Potato Company has recalled 55,689 pounds of frozen blueberries due to potential listeria monocytogenes contamination, posing a serious health risk. The recalled product, initially announced on February 12 and later classified as a “Class I” recall on February 24, was distributed in Canada and several U.S. states, including Michigan and Washington. The blueberries were supplied to food manufacturers and were not sold directly to consumers in retail stores.
