UK’s Use of Israeli Spyware Linked to Genocide in Israel-Palestine Conflict

The UK government is investing in spyware developed in Israel and tested on Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, despite public criticism of Israeli actions. The spyware includes Corsight facial recognition technology, software from Cellebrite for data extraction, and surveillance software from BriefCam. The UK police forces, including the City of London Police and Leicestershire Police, have purchased access to this technology. Rights groups have raised concerns over the export of this technology to other hardline states worldwide.
