CC Sabathia’s No. 52 will be retired by the New York Yankees in September, honoring the Hall of Fame pitcher who spent 11 of his 19 MLB seasons with the team. Sabathia, a first-ballot inductee into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2025, is the 25th player to have his number retired at Yankee Stadium. He ended his career with a 251-161 record, 3,093 strikeouts, and a World Series championship in 2009.
