This marks Porter’s return to professional basketball nearly two years after being banned for life from the NBA for violating gambling rules, including disclosing confidential information and wagering on games. The USBL, known for providing opportunities to players, will see its season opener on March 7 against the Lilac City Legends, where Porter is expected to debut.
