NASA astronaut Mike Fincke, commander of the International Space Station, disclosed that he experienced a medical issue on January 7 that necessitated an early return to Earth for his crew, Crew-11. Fincke praised his colleagues and NASA flight surgeons for their swift response, which stabilized his condition. Crew-11 safely splashed down off the coast of San Diego on January 15, concluding a five-and-a-half-month mission. Fincke is currently undergoing post-flight reconditioning at NASA’s Johnson Space Center and expressed gratitude for the support he received.
