Trump presents Purple Hearts and Medals of Honor at State of the Union

During his State of the Union address, President Trump awarded several honors including Purple Hearts to Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe and the family of Army Spc. Sarah Beckstrom, who was killed in a November shooting in Washington, D.C. He also recognized U.S. goalie Connor Hellebuyck with the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his role in winning gold at the Winter Olympics, and Navy Capt. E. Royce Williams received the Medal of Honor for his heroics during the Korean War. Chief Warrant Officer Eric Slover was honored with the Medal of Honor for his part in the capture of former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.
