Gilles and Poirier Lead Canadian Team for World Championships

Newly crowned Olympic bronze medallists Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier will represent Canada at the figure skating world championships in Prague from March 24 to 29. The duo, who earned their first Olympic medal at the Milano Cortina 2026 Games, will be joined by rising star Stephen Gogolev, along with Madeline Schizas, Lia Pereira, and Trennt Michaud, who will compete in their respective events following solid performances at the Olympics.
