MILAN — U.S. hockey star Hilary Knight became the all-time leading scorer in U.S. women’s hockey history at the Olympics by scoring her 15th career goal in the gold medal game against Canada, tying the match at 1-1 with two minutes remaining. Knight surpassed the previous record held by Natalie Darwitz and Katie King, achieving this milestone during her 27th Olympic appearance. Additionally, she broke the career points record with 33 points. Knight’s achievement came shortly after her engagement to U.S. speedskater Brittany Bowe.
