Big Fun Events distances itself after staff member’s conviction

A staff member from Warkworth children’s entertainment company Big Fun Events, Regan Highfield, pleaded guilty to possessing child sexual abuse material. Following an investigation by the Department of Internal Affairs, Highfield, 25, was found to have accessed 7,853 objectionable images and shared links to 1,053 with others, resulting in 21 criminal charges. The company, which operates kids’ inflatables and food carts, addressed the situation in a Facebook statement after his court plea.
