A man accused of killing 15 people at a Hanukkah celebration in Australia’s Bondi Beach appeared in court via video link from prison for the first time. Naveed Akram, facing 59 charges including murder and a terror offense, spoke briefly during the hearing. His lawyer stated it was too early to indicate how Akram would plead and that the case is expected to return to court in April.
