Paal Enger, the Norwegian man who stole Edvard Munch’s iconic painting ‘The Scream’ in 1994, has passed away at the age of 57. Enger and his accomplices took the painting from the National Gallery in Oslo, but it was recovered shortly after. Despite the crime, Enger maintained that he was an art lover and claimed he did it to draw attention to the lack of security in museums.
