In the Marvel Disney+ series Wonder Man, Simon Williams (played by Yahya Abdul Mateen II) recalls his childhood inspiration from the campy superhero film Wonder Man, which leads him to pursue acting. Presently, he aims to secure the lead role in a modern reboot directed by Von Kovak (Zlatko Burić).
