Islamabad, Pakistan – A court-appointed lawyer has reported that jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan has suffered significant vision loss, now down to 15 percent in his right eye, due to alleged neglect by authorities for three months. The Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered an independent medical examination following a troubling report detailing Khan’s deteriorating health since his imprisonment in August 2023. His party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, expressed deep concern and demanded immediate access to medical care and legal representation. Meanwhile, political tensions escalate as Khan continues to face numerous charges following his ousting from power.
