Drug Dealer Sets Up Booby-Trapped Home with Tripwires and Bombs

A 60-year-old drug dealer, Ian Claughton, was sentenced to seven years in prison for booby-trapping his home in a manner reminiscent of the film “Home Alone” to safeguard his drug operation. Authorities discovered various traps, homemade explosives, and significant quantities of drugs during a police search in Grimethorpe, South Yorkshire. Claughton’s ex-wife, Lesley, received a 21-month suspended sentence for her involvement. Both were found guilty of multiple charges, including possession of firearms and intent to supply drugs.
