Iranian activist’s last message opposes US-Iran talks
Pouria Hamidi, an Iranian from Bushehr, shared a poignant video appealing to US President Donald Trump to reject any agreements with Iran’s regime, citing the tragic loss of over 40,000 lives amidst the conflict. After recording his message, he reportedly took his own life, expressing despair over the Iranian people’s hopelessness and the regime’s brutality. Hamidi urged that negotiating with the Islamic Republic would betray the memories of those who died fighting against it. He highlighted the desire of his generation to escape the oppressive regime, emphasizing their bleak future.
