Madeline Schizas’ Olympic Homework Request
Canadian figure skater Madeline Schizas, a McMaster University student, requested an extension on a sociology assignment due to her participation in the Olympic Games. In her email to the professor, she explained that she mistakenly thought the deadline was Sunday instead of Friday and provided proof of her Olympic involvement. Competing in her Olympic debut at the Milan Cortina Games, she earned a score of 64.97 in women’s single skating and is set to compete again in the team event.
