Police Investigate Major Crime in Gus Lamont Disappearance

Police have escalated the investigation into the disappearance of 4-year-old Gus Lamont from his family’s property in remote South Australia to a “major crime.” Gus was last seen playing outside his family’s homestead at Oak Park Station on September 27. Since then, extensive search efforts have been conducted to locate him. Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke emphasized that the focus of all involved is to find Gus and reunite him with his parents.
