Germany criticized Iran’s designation of EU member states’ armed forces as terrorist organizations, calling it “baseless” and “propagandistic.” Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul reaffirmed Berlin’s support for the EU’s classification of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist group, citing its violent suppression of protests and export of terrorism.
