Apex Legends to cease Nintendo Switch support after next season

Respawn announced that support for Apex Legends on Nintendo Switch will end with Season 29, making it the final update for the original console. Players can continue enjoying the game until August 4, 2026, after which it will only be available on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and other platforms. All progress, purchases, and earnings will transfer to the Switch 2, even for those upgrading later. This change comes after Apex Legends was released on Switch in 2021, two years post-launch on other platforms.
