Several police officers recounted the chaotic scene at a Westmere mansion five years ago, where they responded to a report of a stabbing amid intoxicated party-goers. Constable Luke Dodson provided first aid to a bleeding man, who identified Andrew Montgomerie as his attacker during a brief interview. Montgomerie, 58, is currently on trial for wounding with reckless disregard, having admitted to causing the injury with a wine glass but claiming it was accidental. The incident allegedly arose from a financial dispute between property developers.
