Turkish authorities arrested six individuals, including an Iranian national, on espionage charges for Iran following coordinated raids in five provinces. The suspects allegedly gathered sensitive information on military sites and conducted reconnaissance around the NATO-run Incirlik air base, reportedly in collaboration with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. They are also suspected of facilitating drone shipments for third countries and sharing intelligence with Iranian operatives. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is scheduled to visit Turkey for discussions amid rising tensions with the U.S. and unrest in Iran.
