United Parcel Service (UPS) plans to cut up to 30,000 jobs and achieve $3bn in savings in 2026 by reducing reliance on Amazon deliveries. Job cuts will be through attrition and voluntary buyouts, with closures of 24 buildings in the first half of the year. The savings aim to follow the $3.5bn achieved in 2025, with UPS projecting revenues of $89.7bn in 2026 despite reducing shipments for Amazon. UPS shares closed 0.22 percent higher following the announcement.
