NASA has begun moving the Artemis II rocket to its launch pad, with a crewed mission to orbit the Moon scheduled for no earlier than February 6, 2026. The mission will feature four astronauts, including Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen, and will last 10 days. Following the successful Artemis I mission, this will be the first crewed flight using NASA’s Space Launch System rocket and the Orion crew capsule. Future plans include Artemis III, which aims to land astronauts on the Moon’s surface by 2027.
