Chicago Cubs Hall of Fame Inductions
At the Cubs Convention, Executive Chairman Tom Ricketts announced the induction of former catcher Jody Davis and pitcher Jon Lester into the Cubs Hall of Fame, along with a Lifetime Achievement Award for broadcaster Vince Lloyd, posthumously. Davis, a two-time All-Star, played for the Cubs from 1981-1988, while Lester, a key player in the 2016 World Series win, was with the team from 2015-2020. Lloyd, known for his iconic calls, broadcasted Cubs games for over three decades. The induction ceremony will take place at Wrigley Field in 2026, celebrating the team’s 150th anniversary.
