Gaza Administration Committee Begins Official Operations

Ali Shaath, head of the Palestinian National Committee for the Administration of Gaza, announced the committee’s official formation in Cairo, backed by broad Palestinian consensus and international support. The committee, composed of 15 experienced figures, aims to manage Gaza during a two-year transitional period, focusing on humanitarian assistance and reconstruction efforts. A one-year budget funded by donors has been allocated, and plans for an international reconstruction fund at the World Bank are underway.
